Chest compressions in cardiac arrest are the single most effective intervention and time is of the essence any time the heart is not beating during a RIT operation rescue.
This interactive workshop prepares crews to respond to the worst-case scenario: a firefighter experiencing cardiac arrest in full turnout gear. Learn techniques to initiate immediate chest compressions to provide the highest chance of survival while removing injured firefighter from their gear and still maintaining near-constant chest compressions.
